Chester is a city and is the county town of Cheshire, England through which the River Dee flows. The suburb of Saltney is in Wales. The Welsh name of the city is Caer.
Chester retains its medieval city walls and there are many Victorian buildings.
The city has its own university, hospital and railway station.
Aeroplane parts are manufactured in Broughton, near Chester.
Chester City Football Club play in the English Football League Two (soccer). Their stadium is just in Wales.
