Climate refers to a number of phenomena relative to a region and its weather.
Factors to be taken into account in order to describe a climate include:
- Minimum cold season temperature
- Annual rainfall
- Length of periods without rainfall (droughts)
- Likelihood of regular flooding
- Wind speeds encountered
- Cloud cover versus sunny weather
