They also claim that changing climate could cause mass extinction of plants and animals.

Much attention is directed at the USA for leading the world economy in CO2 emissions. However, within the near future China will surpass the USA in CO2 emissions by completing construction of coal-fired power plants at a rate of about two a week [1]
