The Coffee Party is the left-wing version of the Tea Party Movement. It is meant as an answer to the tea parties.

The coffee party movement got its start when documentary filmmaker Annabel Park felt frustrated both over the news coverage the tea parties were receiving and over a perceived lack of representation of her viewpoints in Washington. [1]

Slogan: "Wake Up and Stand Up"

The media, like CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, National Public Radio, and Washington Post, is covering their actions.
