Although we assume good faith as a matter of principle, some people would abuse this trust. For those visitors who do not appear to support this project or who violate its the rules, sysops have the authority to block their accounts to protect the integrity of the site.

Vandals are blocked permanently, but other blocks are given for a period of reflection and with the hope that the user being blocked may be able to return and edit in a positive way once the time has passed. If the blocked user wishes to seek further clarification, they can use the "email this user" link from the talk page of the blocking sysop. In the event that the sysop does not have an email address available, others active sysops can forward your concern such as Philip or Ed.

If you have feelings you wish to express, but recognize it would inappropriate to do so on article talk pages, then you may wish to look at Conservapedia's Debate Topics. We have a large section devoted to the project itself, among other issues.

If you have questions about the way an article is written or would like to propose changes, then it is fine to use the talk page for that article. However, if the discussion is turning into a general debate without article improvement taking place, then the article talk page becomes an inappropriate forum and it should be moved to a {{debate}} page. You can help by entering a link in the Debate Topics article so others can join if they wish.
