#Note to Students!

Conservapedia is an online, open-content, collaborative, encyclopedia, that is, a voluntary association of individuals and groups who are developing a common conservative resource of knowledge. The structure of the project allows anyone with an Internet connection and World Wide Web browser to alter its content. Please be advised that nothing found here has necessarily been reviewed by professionals with the expertise necessary to provide you with complete, accurate, or reliable information.

That is not to say that you will not find valuable and accurate information in Conservapedia; much of the time you will. However, Conservapedia cannot guarantee the validity of the information found here. The content of any given article may recently have been changed, vandalized, or altered by someone whose opinion does not correspond with the state of knowledge in the relevant fields.

No formal peer review

We are working on ways to select and highlight reliable versions of articles. Our active community of editors uses tools such as the Special:Recentchanges to monitor new and changing content. However, Conservapedia is not yet uniformly peer reviewed; while readers may correct errors or engage in casual peer review, they have no legal duty to do so and thus all information read here is without any implied warranty of fitness for any purpose or use whatsoever. Even articles that have been vetted by informal peer review or featured article processes may later have been edited inappropriately, just before you view them.

None of the authors, contributors, sponsors, administrators, sysops, or anyone else connected with Conservapedia in any way whatsoever can be responsible for the appearance of any inaccurate or libelous information or for your use of the information contained in or linked from these web pages.

Conservapedia is currently not in a very good state for sourcing its material. However, that is not to say that you can't benefit from participation. It is NOT recommended that you use Conservapedia as the main source for papers or projects, especially not as the only source!

By linking to an external website or source from Conservapedia.com, Conservapedia is not necessarily making any sort of supportive statement of the content of that website or source. In fact we may routinely offer 'External links' to websites or sources in which we adamantly disagree with, simply to offer a wider base for research into other areas of thought. We will try our best, as a community, to mark these 'opposing' websites or sources for you, but just know that when you see an 'External link', that does not mean we agree with everything at the link's location.

Note also that Conservapedia cannot be responsible for any illegal or otherwise shameful activity carried out on other websites. We will do our best to only include the safest and most professional websites and sources that are available. If you spot a bad link, please report it to one of our administrators.
