Conservative foreign policy parameters are formulated by hardheaded economic and business interests, and military-strategic interests to defend those bread and butter economic interests on which a nation depends.

Liberal foreign policy is driven by newspeak, emotion, the ever-changing winds of public opinion, and a thin veil of Marxist theory.
