The cruise missile is a guided missile designed to fly under enemy radar. It can carry conventional or nuclear payloads.

The majority of a cruise missile's flight path to its target is conducted at an approximately constant velocity. However, this depends somewhat on the dynamic reaction of air for lift and upon propulsion forces to balance drag.[1]
