David Bentley Hart

David Bentley Hart (born 20 February 1965) is a prominent American theologian and philosopher and is visiting Professor at Providence College, having previously taught at the University of Virginia, the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota), Duke University, and Loyola College.
He is the author of Atheist Delusions (2009), a "powerful antidote" to the misrepresentations of Dawkins, Hitchens et al.
Hart is an Eastern Orthodox Christian and does not believe that God is a person or a being, but rather, he believes that God is Being itself and is metaphysically simple. Many Christians, especially Evangelicals, tend to disagree with this view.
