David Stockman

David Stockman (born 1946) was a Republican Congressman from Michigan (1977–81) and a highly influential budget director (Office of Management and Budget) in implementing President Ronald Reagan's economic program, Reaganomics.

In the 1980 Presidential election, Stockman played Jimmy Carter in mock-debate preparations with Ronald Reagan.
