Panama, Sure!

What shouldn't have been allowed to happen was the transferring of control of both entrances to a Chinese company that is under direct control of communist China. Talk about dirty little deals. Defiantly, the Panama Canal is in Panama. It would have been modern day colonialism if the United States continued to control the Panama Canal.

The Panama Canal is nowhere near the contiguous US, right? Seems to me a little bit like colonialism to have one country rule over a bit of land nowhere near their cultural homeland. BTW John McCain was born in a US army base in Panama, but the "liberal media" didn't mention that once, you psychopathic birthers. VCS777.

The US spent a LOT of time and cash on the canal, plus it gave us tons of revenue from trade and shipping. As Ronald Reagan said in 1976, we built it, so we should keep it. NickA 23:32, 27 July 2010 (EDT)
