Deuterostomia is a superphylum within the animal kingdom. The deuterostomes (Greek for "second mouth") are bilateral animals that develop the mouth as a second pore within the developing organism, after the vent. These include Vertebrates, urochordates, hemichordates, echinoderms, and man kind.[1]
