Duck Dynasty is a reality television series shown on the A&E cable channel. The show follows the Robertson family of Monroe, Louisiana, who patented and market a duck call whistle for duck hunters. The cast is a unique blend of family members with long beards, their wives, children and co-workers of Duck Commander. The theme is consistently traditional American values. Their appearance is mostly regarded as Redneck. The show typically ends with the family around the table giving thanks to Jesus Christ.

In 2013, the premiere of the fourth season of the show was watched by 11.8 million viewers, making it the most-watched reality show of all time.

During this time, liberals were watching shows like Project Runway or similar dreck.

In typical liberal rejection, progressives are appalled that these men hunt animals. The Robertsons' appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live was boycotted by the scheduled singer (and well known animal rights activist) Morrissey and his band, calling them "serial animal killers".

Politics

Due to strong traditional values and their popularity, it has been mentioned that GOP strategists want Willie Robertson to run for the House seat serving Louisiana’s 5th District. He replied,"I'm kinda busy right now." [1]

Phil Robertson endorsed Vance McAllister for Louisiana’s 5th District, who was an outsider in the race but had the backing of the Tea Party of Louisiana and FreedomWorks. McAllister would go on to defeat the GOP establishment choice, state Senator Neil Riser. [2]

Censorship

In 2013, Phil Robertson told an interviewer:

“It seems like, to me, a vagina – as a man – would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me,” Robertson stated. “I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.” [3] Also, "Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men," Robertson told GQ. "Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers-they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right."

Bowing to homosexual activists, A&E suspended Robertson from the show.[4]
