Paralyzed with fear, he is afraid to debate on the topic of Christianity which is exploding in its number of adherents worldwide.

Global atheism is shrinking in terms of its global market share and the shrinkage is expected to continue in the 21st century (See: Global atheism statistics).

Global atheism is burning! Burn, baby, burn! Global atheism inferno!

On July 24, 2013, CNS News reported:

“ Atheism is in decline worldwide, with the number of atheists falling from 4.5% of the world’s population in 1970 to 2.0% in 2010 and projected to drop to 1.8% by 2020, according to a new report by the Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Mass."[3] ”

The American Spectator declared:

“ The report estimates about 80,000 new Christians every day, 79,000 new Muslims every day, and 300 fewer atheists every day. These atheists are presumably disproportionately represented in the West, while religion is thriving in the Global South, where charismatic Christianity is exploding."[4] ”

On December 23, 2012, Professor Eric Kaufmann who teaches at Birbeck College, University of London wrote:

“ I argue that 97% of the world's population growth is taking place in the developing world, where 95% of people are religious.

On the other hand, the secular West and East Asia has very low fertility and a rapidly aging population... In the coming decades, the developed world's demand for workers to pay its pensions and work in its service sector will soar alongside the booming supply of young people in the third world. Ergo, we can expect significant immigration to the secular West which will import religious revival on the back of ethnic change. In addition, those with religious beliefs tend to have higher birth rates than the secular population, with fundamentalists having far larger families. The epicentre of these trends will be in immigration gateway cities like New York (a third white), Amsterdam (half Dutch), Los Angeles (28% white), and London, 45% white British. [5]

In the Western World, the atheist movement is deeply divided and recently internet atheism has been in decline (see: Atheism: A house divided and in global decline and Decline of internet atheism).

Meanwhile, biblical Christianity and biblical creationism is seeing a significant growth (see: Global Christianity and Global creationism).

The Bible says concerning God, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent." and "My God is a consuming fire". Atheists, you cannot defeat God Almighty. Global atheism will continue to burn! Christians will toast their marshmellows on the conflagration of global atheism burning while singing the campfire song "Kumbaya, my Lord"!

The atheist community has a long track record of trampling on the religious freedom of Christians and other theists (see: Militant atheism and Atheism and intolerance).

The atheist Penn Jillette is known for his big talk (He called the Bible "bullsh*t")[7], yet when it comes time to actually engage in debate he evolves into a chicken.[8]

In 2011, the American Spectator citing research published in the International Bulletin of Missionary Research reported that atheism is on the decline as a whole in terms of adherents.[10] See: Decline of global atheism

The atheist Georgetown professor Jacques Berlinerblau likens the strength of the American atheist movement to a "gimpy little zebra".[11]

“ American atheist movements, though fancying themselves a lion, are more like the gimpy little zebra crossing the river full of crocs. In terms of both political gains and popular appeal, nonbelievers in the United States have little to show. They are encircled by cunning, swarming [religious] Revivalist adversaries who know how to play the atheist card. The gimpy zebra remark was a little goofing on this over-the-top chest-thumping that emerges from Movement Atheists. They wildly overestimate their numbers. They tend to overestimate the efficacy of their activism. They underestimate how disciplined and organized their adversaries in the religious right are, too. They fail to recognize that mocking religious people in public is entirely inimical to the goals they wish to achieve."[12] ”

The Tiananmen Square massacre fueled a big rise in Chinese interest in Christianity.[14]

Much to the dismay of militant, Chinese atheists, tanks are a very ineffective way of hinder the growth of Christianity.

The prominent historian Sir Diarmaid MacCulloch, professor of the History of the Church at Oxford University, indicates that he believes Christianity faces a "bright future" worldwide (See also: Global Christianity).

According to MacCulloch, "Christianity, the world's largest religion, is rapidly expanding – by all indications, its future is very bright."[15]
