Essay: Christopher Hitchens was a bloodthirsty barbarian

The new atheist Christopher Hitchens displayed a bloodthirsty rhetoric towards radical Islamacists.[1] At the opening of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, Hitchens said of radical Islamacists, "It is a pleasure and a duty to kill these people".[1] Hitchens said of Islamic Iran, which engages in state-sponsored terrorism, "As for that benighted country, I wouldn't shed a tear if it was wiped off the face of this earth”.[1]

In 2013, Iran had a population of about 77 million people.

Harvard University professor Robert D. Putnam declared that the average Iranian is slightly less religious than the average American.[2] According to Pew Research poll, in 2012, 2.4% of American adults said they are atheists.[3] If 2.4% of Iranians are atheists, this would mean that there are presently about 1,848,000 atheists in Iran. In addition, in 2014, Pew Research found that there is a slightly larger percentage of agnostics in the United States than atheists.[4] If we say that 2.6% of Iranians are agnostics, this would mean that there are about 2 million Iranian agnostics.

Mr. Atheists, of course we know what this means. Christopher Hitchens would slaughter 1,848,000 Iranian atheists and about 2 million Iranian agnostics, if it meant that about 73 million Muslims/theists would die! And he wouldn't shed a tear over the approximate 3,848,000 atheist/agnostic collateral casualties!

God is more merciful than Christopher Hitchens was

Destruction of Sodom by God

The Got Questions Ministry says about God's destroying of Sodom and Gomorrah:

When God revealed His plan to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah due to the wickedness of those cities, Abraham asked God to spare the people. In fact, Abraham engaged in a lengthy conversation to mediate for the cities.

First, Abraham wanted God to spare the righteous people who lived in Sodom and Gomorrah. He asked, “Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous who are in it? Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?” (Genesis 18:23-25).

Second, Abraham’s nephew Lot lived in Sodom. God did spare Lot and his two daughters, perhaps as a direct result of Abraham’s request. Genesis 19:29 states, “So it was that, when God destroyed the cities of the valley, God remembered Abraham and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow when he overthrew the cities in which Lot had lived.” Abraham certainly wanted to see his own extended family protected from God’s judgment.

Third, Abraham had compassion for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. While he understood God’s judgment of sin, Abraham asked God to spare the city even if there could be found as few as ten righteous people (Genesis 18:32). God agreed to spare the city for the sake of ten righteous people. Apparently, fewer than ten righteous were found, since God did destroy the cities, sparing only Lot and his two daughters. (God also planned to rescue Lot’s wife, but she died when she disobeyed God and turned back to look at the city as it was being destroyed.)[5]

So there you have it Mr. Atheist. As we can see above, while God was willing to spare the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah if 10 righteous people lived in those cities, Christopher Hitchens would slaughter 1,848,000 Iranian atheists and about 2 million Iranian agnostics, if it meant that about 73 million Muslims/theists would die! Therefore, God is more merciful than the atheist Christopher Hitchens was. God is great. Christopher Hitchens was not great. Checkmate atheists! Game over!

Bestiality is the act of engaging in sexual relations with an animal.

At the end of Christian apologist William Lane Craig vs. atheist Christopher Hitchens debate there was an audience question and answer period (see: VIDEO).[6] The first audience member to ask a question twice asked Christopher Hitchens to label bestiality as an immoral act, but he refused to do so.[7][8] Dr. Craig said the question posed to Hitchens was a good one and it helped illustrate that atheism cannot offer objective moral standards (see: Atheism and morality and Atheist population and immorality).[9]

Commenting on atheist Christopher Hitchens' refusal to condemn bestiality, the article Atheism: A religion of degenerates declared: " I feel sorry for all the sheep and little dogs who have been raped by depraved atheists because prominent atheists have refused to condemn bestiality."[10]

On August 12, 2012, an article entitled Atheism: A religion of degenerates declared:

Christopher Hitchens, who was an atheist and a drunkard, was arguably the most popular atheists in the 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century as well. At the end of his debate with Christian apologists William Lance Craig, there was an audience question and answer period. During this question and answer period, twice Hitchens was asked to condemn bestiality, but he refused to do it each time he was asked.

The Bible teaches that bestiality is a perversion and, under the Old Testament Jewish Law, punishable by death (Exodus 22:19, Leviticus 18:23, Leviticus 20:15 and Deuteronomy 27:21). I feel sorry for all the sheep and little dogs who have been raped by depraved atheists because prominent atheists have refused to condemn bestiality. Atheism has no basis for objective morality so it is not surprising that atheist degenerates refuse to condemn bestiality.[11]

Additional statistics

According to a 2008 Zogby International poll of Iranian-Americans:

Of the respondents, forty-two percent (42%) identified themselves as Muslims, nine

percent (9%) as Christians, six percent (6%) as Jews, five percent (5%) as Zoroastrians, seven percent (7%) as Bahais, and a significant thirty-one percent (31%) as other, presumably meaning that they do not practice any particular religion.[12]

In the United States, fewer than 15 percent of nones are atheists.[13]
