Family-friendly

The term family-friendly is applied to material which is appropriate for use by all ages in that it is free from profanity, sexual description (in words or images), foul language, blasphemy and positive depictions of criminal violence. It is ironic that material containing such Liberal values is often described as 'adult': anything more immature than pornography would be hard to imagine.
