Federalist No. 80, authored by Alexander Hamilton under the pen name Publius, is the eightieth of 85 essays. Titled "The Powers of the Judiciary", Hamilton writes about the jurisdiction of the new court system in regards to overruling state laws, enforcing uniformity in interpretation of laws, and jurisdiction over citizens from other countries.

It was published on June 21, 1788.
