Foundation for a Better Life is a privately funded non-profit 501(c)(3) organization[1] dedicated to promoting values such as hard work, honesty, ingenuity, and optimism, among many others.[2]

Its principal ad campaign is called "Pass it on," consisting of posters with images and inspirational quotes or messages from or about famous people, such as Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and Albert Einstein. It is not affiliated with any religion or denomination, stating that its values should "transcend any particular religion or nationality."
