An English country garden

A gardener or horticulturist, is someone who tends, looks after, or designs a garden. Being a gardener is one of the supreme joys in life. Not only does it bring one closer to nature but it aligns one with God who became the first gardener when he created the Garden of Eden. A gardener may not only cultivate flowers, shrubs and trees for their beauty and scent, but also vegetables, herbs and fruits to be eaten. In its own way a vegetable garden and orchard may be as beautiful to behold as a flower garden.

Famous gardeners include Alan Titchmarsh, Capability Brown and Monty Don.
