Gary Gygax was one of the co-creators (along with Dave Arneson) of Dungeons and Dragons and is called by some the "father of roleplaying games". He has also written several fantasy and science fiction themed short stories and books. Gygax passed away on March 4, 2008, at his home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, at the age of 69.[1]
