Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel lived from 1770 to 1831. He was one of the greatest of the German idealist philosophers and was a disciple of Immanuel Kant. He insisted that revolution were essential to human desiny and that revolutionary leaders wee heroes in promoting reform.
