Half-breed is a pejorative which can refer to:

  • a person with multiple racial/ethnic backgrounds, where in such contexts the term is used in a derogatory fashion as a slur
  • Half-Breed Republicans, the leading reformist faction of the Republican Party during the Gilded Age whose name was applied in an overtly negative connotation by their comparably pro-civil rights rival faction, the pro–political machine "old guard" Stalwart Republicans, to insinuate that they were only "half Republican."
