Hammer v. Dagenhart

Hammer v. Dagenhart (1918) was a Tenth Amendment case in which the Supreme Court ruled that child labor laws were under the jurisdiction of the state governments.[1]

Dagenhart was overturned in 1941 by United States v. Darby Lumber Co., and child labor laws were nationalized.
