Holocaust

The Holocaust was the massacring of the Jewish race during World War II. The German people as a whole are not to blame for this but the Nazis were, by playing on the antisemitic sentiment so popular before World War II to give them a scapegoat for their country's problems. Besides 6 million Jews dying, 3 million Christians were killed also along with many priests, nuns, Gypsies, Communists and homosexuals.
