Homosexual Historical Revisionism

Homosexual Historical Revisionism is the practice of falsely claiming that famous historical figures were gay.

Among the people they have claimed to be gay, despite evidence to the contrary, are:

• Jesus Christ^[1]
• David and Jonathan^[2][3][4]
• Various other Biblical figures^[5]
• Horatio Alger, the author of books, such as Ragged Dick, that emphasized any one could make it in America
• Saint Augustine^[6]
• President James Buchanan^[7]
• Robin Hood^[8]
• President Woodrow Wilson ^[9]
• J. Edgar Hoover^[10]
• Francis Bacon^[11]
• Father Mychal Judge (FDNY Chaplain and 9/11 victim)^[12]
• Marquis de Lafayette^[13]
• Abraham Lincoln^[14]
• Apostle Paul^[15]
• Various Popes, including: Popes Benedict IX, John XXII, Julius III, Paul VI, Pius XII, and Sixtus IV ^[16]
• Larry Craig
• Charlie Crist^[17]

For pro homosexual advocates, also problematic are negative examples of men who may have been or were homosexuals, from Hitler (as alleged by author Lothar Machtan^[18]) to the large proportion of serial killers who were allegedly homosexual.^[19]
