The Institute of Public Affairs (abbreviated to IPA) is an Australian conservative think tank, advocating free market economic policy. Founded in 1943, the institute has strong ties to the Liberal Party of Australia, the nation's leading right-wing political party. The IPA is also responsible for publishing the IPA Review, Australia's longest running political magazine.
