Dr. J. Vernon McGee (1904 - 1988) was a pastor and popular Christian radio speaker running a series of radio programs from 1967 until his death. Such was the popularity of his sermons, that even today two decades after his death his voice is still heard on radios across the nation as his Thru the Bible series continues to be played.
