Anime is a Japanese word referring to cartoon depictions of pornography. It is illegal in both America and Canada. In order to protect this country's children, when these violent, sexual cartoons are heavily edited to remove their pornographic natures. For instance, in the cartoon show Sailor Moon, the character Usagi(a Japanese slang word for an obscene sexual act) was changed to the American Serena. Anime fans(who are widely recognized as what they are, perverts, outside their own insular communities) often whine about their favorite depraved pastime being "destroyed" by "censorship," but never bother to mention that they are lucky to live in a society where are children can be protected from this kind of racist smut.
