John Oliver is a liberal, British "comedian" with a satirical weekly news show in the United States, Last Week Tonight. The show is similar to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where Oliver had previously been a player.

Not surprisingly, not everyone agrees with John Oliver's choice of topics, or his presentation on those topics (including his attacks on Donald Trump and his 2016 presidential campaign while resorting to bigotry and projection against conservatives and religion). His show leans liberal.

In late 2015, he started a fake "church", Our Lady of Perpetual Exemption, in order to satirize Christian pastors that request charitable donations by appearing to promise the donor divine favors in response. This "church" actually received some donations; they were given to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) aka Doctors Without Borders, a (real) international humanitarian group. As of September 14, 2015, Oliver has disbanded the church.

Oliver also embraces the homosexual agenda but simultaneously denies that it exists. In an episode of Last Week Tonight aired on March 18, 2018, he saw fit to attack Vice-President Mike Pence and his family on the show by plagiarizing Pence's daughter Charlotte Pence's children's book, Marlon Bundo's Day in the Life of the Vice President, with an obscene pro-homosexual parody of the book titled A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo, the proceeds of which he then claimed he would send to the Trevor Project, a pro-homosexual "charity" which encourages the enabling of harmful and destructive sexual behavior.[1]
