The Jokela school shooting occurred on November 7, 2007 at Jokela High School, a public secondary school in the town of Jokela, Tuusula municipality, Finland.

The incident resulted in the deaths of nine people: one female adult-student (age 25); five male students (age 16-18); the school principal, Helena Kalmi (age 61); the school nurse (age 43); as well as Pekka-Eric Auvinen himself (age 18), who was also one of the school's students. Only hours before the incident, Auvinen, an atheist, posted a video on YouTube predicting the massacre at the school.
