Jonathon Moffa is an FBI a deputy assistant director in the Counterintelligence Division who worked on both the Hillary Clinton email investigation and Trump-Russia investigation.

Moffa testified to Congress in August 2018 that the FBI use of spies and other counterintelligence assets in the Trump campaign was far more extensive than has previously been acknowledged.[1] Moffas said the FBI routinely performed illegal leaks to the media, than used those same fake news reports as corroborating evidence before judicial bodies to frame suspects.[2]
