Joseph McKenna was a conservative politician and jurist from California. He served in all three branches of government: the executive branch (as attorney general), the legislative branch (in the House of Representatives) and the judicial branch (on the Supreme Court). As a justice, McKenna notably authored Hoke v. United States - which upheld the Mann Act.[1]
