Kamehameha I, first king of the Hawaiʻian islands

Kamehameha the Great (c 1740-58 - 8 May 1819) was a king of Hawaiʻi in the late 18th Century and early 19th Century. He unified the Hawaiʻian islands, introduced firearms to Hawaiʻi, and signed many treaties, including the first Hawaiʻian treaty with the United States.[1]
