Karl Jaspers

Karl Jaspers (1883 - 1969). He was a German philosopher and one of the originators of existentialism.

He was noted for his steadfast opposition to National Socialism.[1]

Jaspers joined the Heidelburg philosophical faculty in 1913 which he used as a springboard to advance his ideas on existentialism.
