Kinder Scout is a bleak moor, which forms the highest part of Derbyshire, at 2087 feet. It is part of the Dark Peak area of the Peak District National Park.[1]

In 1932 it was the subject of a mass trespass by ramblers, in an attempt to secure public access to the site and others like it across Britain.[2]
