The Kyocera Corporation (Kyōsera Kabushiki-gaisha) is a modern designer and manufacturer of electronics and other modern technology. Kyocera is a Japanese company which was founded in April 1, 1959.[1] They were originally known as Kyoto Ceramic Co., Ltd. and as the name suggests, they manufactured ceramics.[2] They now primarily manufacture integrated circuit chips (which do sometimes contain ceramic), cellular phones, printers, and solar power systems.
