Lawrence Joseph Ellison, born August 17, 1944 in New York City, is an American businessman, best known as the co-founder and chief executive officer of Oracle Corporation.

Larry Ellison has been CEO of Oracle Corporation since he founded the company in 1977. He also races sailboats, flies planes, and plays tennis and guitar.

According to Forbes, Ellison is #5 among billionaires with $48 Billion as of March 2014. Ellison supports Marco Rubio for president and has donated $4 million to a Super PAC.
