Latin America is Spanish America and Brazil, where Portuguese is spoken. Put another way, Latin America is all of America south of the United States. In other words, Latin America is all the countries of North and South America, excluding Canada and most of the United States. Latin America includes Mexico, Central and South America. Latin America has 523 million people, far more than the United States population of about 300 million. Largely Catholic.
