Lee Patrick Strobel is a former legal reporter for the Chicago Tribune and a Christian author. The basis for his 1981 journey from atheism to Christianity is discussed in his bestselling book The Case For Christ (Zondervan, 1998). After his wife had converted to Christianity, Strobel set out to disprove the faith, and instead became convinced by the evidence for it. He has expanded on this with other similarly themed Christian apologetics books such as The Case For Faith and The Case For a Creator.
