Left Behind is a novel by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins that deals with the Rapture of all who believe in Jesus and prepares sets the seeds for the coming Tribulation and the rise of the Anti-Christ.
Surprisingly for Christian works, the book struck a chord with the Christian community and sold over 15,000,000 copies. It spawned an entire Left behind series of twelve books all the way through Christ's return. The entire series sold over 63 million books.
