London Tower Bridge was built in the 19th Century. The bridge spans the River Thames over the Pool of London. It is near the Tower of London. Tower Bridge is famous because the span of the bridge is in two sections. These sections can be lifted vertically to allow ships to pass. Open or closed Tower Bridge is beautiful.
