Lordship Salvation is a theological position in evangelical soteriology, deemed by many to be a heresy, that one must not only have faith, but also make Jesus Christ the "Lord of your life" through repentance in order to be saved.[1]

Calvinist pastor John MacArthur is a major proponent of this teaching.
