Louisville

Louisville is the largest city in the state of Kentucky. It is also the sixteenth-largest city in the United States. Founded on the Ohio River in 1778 by George Rogers Clark, it was named after King Louis XVI of France. Louisville is famous for Thunder Over Louisville, the Louisville Slugger Museum, and the Kentucky Derby. Louisville's Mayor is Democrat Jerry Abramson.
