Lynne Anne Cheney (née Vincent) is the wife of former U.S. vice president Dick Cheney, and was Second Lady of the United States from 2001 through 2009. She has published several books. The Cheneys have two daughters, Elizabeth and Mary.


Career

Lynne Cheney served on Lockheed's board of directors from 1994 to 2001, a $120,000 per year post which she gave up shortly before her husband's inauguration.[1] She served on the board's Finance, and Nominating and Corporate Governance committees.[2]

She is the author of the novel Sisters.
