Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is the 'Lost City of the Incas'. It was built on a Peruvian mountain ridge around 1440 as a resort for Inca nobility.

Machu Picchu is in the World Heritage List since 1983 and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World since 2007.
