Magazine (firearms)

A Magazine in terms of firearms is a device which holds ammo cartridges and pushes them up into the firing chamber when there is space. Each pistol will have one of these, which usually slides into the handle, between the pistol grips. Machine guns, such as the Uzi machine pistol, will also have a magazine, usually inserted in front of the grips.^{[Citation Needed]}
