Magnum refers to firearm cartridge that are either bigger than a similar cartridge or derived from it. Magnum firearms refers to guns that can use magnum rounds.

- .500 Smith and Wesson Magnum - more commonly called .500 Smith and Wesson. Used most commonly in the Smith and Wesson Model 500
