The poll, released today, Friday, finds that 41% of voters will cast their ballots to register opposition to President Obama's policies. 11% of Democrats say their vote will express lack of support. Independent Voters are more likely to say their vote will express opposition to Obama, 41%. A union endorsement has a negative effect: 38 percent of voters would be more likely to vote for that candidate, and nearly half — 47% — less likely.
Independents are more likely to back a Tea Party candidate by a 5 percentage point margin, and less likely to vote for a candidate endorsed by the unions by 21 points.

A new Fox News poll released today, Thursday, finds that just 43% of voters approve of the job Obama's doing. The president's rating has been hurt by declines not only among Independents, but also among his Democratic Party faithful. Among independents, 40 percent approve today, down from a high of 66 percent in June 2009. More than 6 in 10 American voters think the economy would be in the same or better shape if Congress hadn't passed Obama's economic stimulus bill, while a very small minority thinks things would be worse without it. 
GOP Leaders Call for Probe of Minnesota Vote. Republican chairman wants an eleventh-hour investigation into allegations of illegal voting by felons in the state's contested 2008 Senate election that Al Franken fraudulently captured. The move comes on the heels of a report by a conservative watchdog group that the number of illegal votes greatly exceeded the 312-vote margin that made Al Franken a U.S. senator -- and barely two months before the official records will be destroyed.

9 States Back Arizona Over Obama On Immigration Suit. States have the authority to enforce immigration laws and protect their borders, Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox said Wednesday in a legal brief on behalf of nine states supporting Arizona's immigration law. Cox, one of five Republicans running for Michigan governor, said Michigan is the lead state backing Arizona in federal court and is joined by Alabama, Florida, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Virginia, as well as the Northern Mariana Islands.

In second grade students are instructed to avoid gay slurs and by the time students turn 10 years old they are taught about the various types of intercourse. “This is not education. Police Arrest More Than 80 in Oakland, California Riots. Black Protesters break into stores, start fires following verdict in racially charged shooting case in California. At least a dozen businesses were damaged, including a looted Foot Locker store and a ransacked jewelry store, police said. Protesters also smashed the windows of a bank, set fires in several trash bins, and detonated a small incendiary device near a police station.

Lamestream Media Coverage Slim on NASA, Black Panthers. Mainstream media nearly ignore recent stories on Black Panther election controversy and NASA administrator's comment about Muslim countries. Last year, it was Van Jones and ACORN that "slipped under much of the media's radar". But despite pledges to pay closer attention to the "polemic world of talk radio, cable television and partisan blogs," two new stories have taken their place in the annals of things not much reported. Only a few national media outlets reported the NASA story. They included Fox News, CNN and Slate -- and little else. 3 British Muslims Convicted in Foiled Trans-Atlantic Terrorist Bomb Plot. A jury on Thursday convicted three British Muslims of conspiring to murder hundreds of people as part of a plot to blow up passenger planes flying over the Atlantic. Ibrahim Savant, Arafat Waheed Khan and Waheed Zaman were found guilty Thursday at London's Woolwich Crown Court after a three-month trial. They will be sentenced Friday and face life imprisonment. 
Best of the Public: Supporters Donate $$ to Defend Arizona Law.
The donations, 88% of which came from through the defense fund's website, surged this week after Barack Obama sued Tuesday to challenge the law. A document from Gov. Jan Brewer's office showed that 7,008 of the 9,057 online contributions submitted by Thursday morning were made in the days following the government's filing. In another sign of the coming Obamageddon, website contributions came from all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, and nearly 2,000 came from within Arizona. Donations ranged from $5 to $2,000, with the vast majority between $10 and $100. 
Widespread Support for Banning Full Islamic Veil in Western Europe. On July 13, members of the lower house of the French parliament are expected to vote on a bill that would make it illegal for Muslim women to wear full veils – those that cover all of the face except the eyes – in public places. A survey by the Pew Research Center’s Global Attitudes Project, conducted April 7 to May 8, finds that the French public overwhelmingly endorses this measure; 82% approve of a ban. Majorities in Germany (71%), Great Britain (62%) and Spain (59%) would also support a similar ban in their own countries. In contrast, most Americans would oppose such a measure; 65% say they would disapprove of a ban on Muslim women wearing full veils in public places compared with 28% who say they would approve. 
U.S. Plans Cyber Shield Against Vandals. The federal government is launching an expansive program dubbed "Perfect Citizen" to detect cyber assaults on private companies and government agencies running such critical infrastructure as the electricity grid and nuclear-power plants, and then be rolled out more broadly, according to people familiar with the program. The surveillance by the National Security Agency, the government's chief eavesdropping agency, would rely on a set of sensors deployed in computer networks for critical infrastructure that would be triggered by unusual activity suggesting an impending cyber attack, though it wouldn't persistently monitor the whole system, these people said.

Liberal media In Action On MSNBC: On Tuesday's edition of Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough and his panel discussed the 2010 midterm elections and trashed Republican candidate Sharron Angle as a "mental patient" and a "jackass." The conversation, which included Chris Matthews and Mike Barnicle, began with MSNBC contributor Mark Halperin claiming Angle is "vulnerable" in the race because "she has extreme positions that are out of step with the mainstream." Barnicle asserted that Angle was "embarrassing" to the residents of Nevada and "sounds like a mental patient." This in spite of the actual truth, which is Angle enjoys a 7% lead over incumbent big-spending liberal Harry Reid. 
Poll: Independent Voters 'Disappointed' and 'Angry' With Barack Obama.
A majority of Independent voters are unhappy with the Obama administration and just over half intend to use their vote in November to put a check on the president and the Democratic Congress, according to a Fox News poll released today. Moreover, every time the generic vote question has been asked since March, self-identified independent voters have given the edge to the Republican candidate by a range of 6-13%.

A be-on-the-lookout alert last month for 17 Afghan military men who walked away from a Texas Air Force base has turned out to be just the tip of the iceberg, as no fewer than 46 others have "vanished" from from the Defense Language Institute’s English Language Center at Lackland Air Force Base in recent years. At least 18 are known to be in Canada. Multiple sources told FoxNews.com that there is believed to be a strong network of former AWOL Afghans now living in Canada or illegally in the U.S.

UAE Diplomat Endorses U.S. Strike on Iran. The United Arab Emirates ambassador to the United States said Tuesday that the benefits of bombing Iran's nuclear program outweigh the short-term costs such an attack would impose. 
Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle Vetoes Same-Sex Civil Unions Bill. "I have been open and consistent in my opposition to same-gender marriage, and find that House Bill 444 is essentially marriage by another name." She said voters should decide the fate of civil unions, not politicians. 
The Obama administration is offering incentives to Kenya to approve a controversial new constitution that would legalize abortion for the first time, promising that passage will "allow money to flow" into the nation's coffers, including U.S. aid. But there's a hitch to that pledge. A federal law known as the Siljander Amendment passed in 2006 makes it illegal for the U.S. government to lobby on abortion in other countries -- and three U.S. lawmakers say they want a federal investigation into the promises made by the administration. In a speech delivered last month in Kenya, Vice President Joe Biden urged the Kenyan people to pass the constitution in a referendum scheduled for Aug. 4.

The liberals in the Justice Department feel the law "interferes with federal immigration responsibilities" and must be struck down. Translation: The Obama administration doesn't want the new law enforced!

Governor Jan Brewer slammed the U.S. government saying the suit is a "massive waste of taxpayer funds....the irony is that President Obama’s Administration has chosen to sue Arizona for helping to enforce federal immigration law and not sue local governments that have adopted a patchwork of ‘sanctuary’ policies that directly violate federal law. These patchwork local ‘Sanctuary Cities’ policies instruct the police not to cooperate with federal immigration officials."

The thugs at the AFL-CIO want to further punish Arizona. They want the federal government to cut ties with Arizona law enforcement.  What exactly does the national labor unions want out of this situation is unclear, most likely they want more illegal immigrants as Democrat voters.
Now John McCain says he wants to deport illegal aliens. 
Translation: he's afraid the Tea Party Movement may deport him from Congress in his upcoming primary election. This shows how necessary it is for We, the people to stay involved and make our opinions known.

In its second major ruling on gun rights in three years, the Supreme Court Monday extended the federally protected right to keep and bear arms to all 50 states. The ruling builds upon the Court's 2008 decision in D.C. v. Heller that invalidated the handgun ban in the nation's capital. More importantly, that decision held that the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms was a right the Founders specifically delegated to individuals. The justices affirmed that decision and extended its reach to the 50 states. Today's ruling also completely invalidates Chicago's and any other localities handgun bans.

Byrd, a Democrat who served in the Senate since 1959 from West Virginia, had been plagued by health problems in recent years and was confined to a wheelchair. He had skipped several votes in Congress in the past months. Byrd held a number of leadership roles during his tenure in the Senate, including conference secretary, majority whip and majority leader -- twice. Byrd characterized himself as a "born-again" Christian whose views on race were changed by "time, reflection and the teachings of the Bible."

The senior Reid is up for reelection in November, isn't very popular in Nevada, and finds himself in a serious fight to hold onto his Senate seat. ObamaCare, which the elder Reid stewarded through the Senate earlier this year does not poll well in Nevada, like the rest of the country.

Obama: McChrystal Out In Afghanistan -- General Petraeus In.
Many will remember that Barack Obama and other liberals, many who now work in the White House, supported the infamous Moveon.org advertisement calling Petraeus a traitor  -- "General Betray Us?" -- because Obama back then (2007/08) still insisted the Iraq "surge" didn't work. The same type of surge Obama now endorses for Afghanistan. In fact the Senate voted to condemn the despicable attack on Petraeus, but Obama didn't vote for it.

Parents are outraged after young teenagers were instructed on graphic sexual acts during a Planned Parenthood sex education class at the local high school in Shenandoah, Iowa. Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood and was also a proponent of Eugenics, believing that blacks were a racially inferior race. 
Mike Lee has won the GOP primary in Utah to replace ousted Senator Bob Bennett. Lee is the clear-cut favorite to win the general election in November. Utah is a heavily Republican state, and the Democrat opponent is a restaurateur with little money in the bank. Lee's campaign focused heavily on his background as a constitutional law expert who wants to cut federal spending. Lee also favors repealing ObamaCare, suspending congressional earmarks and mandating term limits. 
No doubt encouraged by Barack Obama, Mexico files a brief in U.S. Federal Court claiming the new Arizona immigration law (Arizona Senate Bill 1070) is unconstitutional and promotes racial profiling!
Until recently, Mexican law made illegal immigration a criminal offense -- anyone arrested for the violation could be fined, imprisoned for up to two years and deported. Mexican lawmakers changed that in 2008 to make illegal immigration a civil violation like it is in the United States, but their law still reads an awful lot like Arizona's. Amnesty International recently issued a report claiming illegal immigrants in Mexico -- typically from Central America -- face abuse, rape and kidnappings, and that Mexican police do little to stop it.

Nikki Haley Wins South Carolina Primary Runoff. The media strike out in their attempt to smear her. State Rep. Nikki Haley, an Indian - American woman, smashed a glass ceiling in South Carolina politics Tuesday by winning her bid to represent the Republican Party in November's gubernatorial race. Haley beat U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett in Tuesday's runoff, riding the backlash against the state's notoriously rough-and-tumble politics. She picked up endorsements from former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and popular former South Carolina first lady Jenny Sanford.

President Obama Meeting With Grassroots Gay Activists. The top commander in Afghanistan, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, has been summoned to the White House to explain biting and unflattering remarks he made to a freelance writer about President Barack Obama and others in the Obama administration. In the Rolling Stone article, titled "The Runaway General," McChrystal described Obama during their first meeting as "uncomfortable and intimidated."  National Security Adviser Jim Jones is described by a McChrystal aide as a "clown" stuck in 1985. Others aides joked about Vice President Joe Biden’s last name as sounding like "Bite me" since Biden opposed the surge.

John Glenn Wants to Keep U.S. Space Shuttles Flying. Mercury astronaut John Glenn wants NASA's space shuttles to keep flying until a reliable replacement is ready, no matter how long it takes. Glenn said he's against paying the Russians $55.8 million per person to fly U.S. astronauts to the space station and back. That's the price for a single ticket starting in 2013; right now, it's costing NASA $26.3 million and will jump to $51 million next year. Glenn doesn't believe the general public realizes what's happening on the space front. "Going to Russia and being, in effect, under control of Russia for our space program just doesn't sit right with me and I don't think it sits well with the American people, either."

Middle-class Americans--not the rich or the poor--pay the majority of annual tax revenues taken in by the federal government, according to data released in a new Congressional Budget Office study. Households earning $34,300 per year or less actually pay a negative average federal income tax rate. The top 1% of income earners (more than $352,900) paid a whopping 28.1% of all federal taxes. 
62% Say Politicians Want Government to Have More Power and Money. This sense of a fundamental divide between politicians and voters helps explain the frustration felt by many Americans today. Just 21% of voters nationwide believe the government today has the consent of the governed. 
Over the objections of three liberal Justices, the Supreme Court has upheld a federal law prohibiting American citizens from providing "material support or resources" to foreign terror groups. The 6-3 majority opinion from Chief Justice John Roberts is a victory for the government’s efforts to fight terrorist organizations. Dissenting were liberal Justices Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor.
"It is not difficult to conclude, as Congress did, that the taint of [terrorist's] violent activities is so great that working in coordination with them or at their command legitimizes and furthers their terrorist means,” Justice Roberts wrote. “Moreover, material support meant to promote peaceable, lawful conduct can be diverted to advance terrorism in multiple ways." Interestingly, Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan argued and won this case for the government. 
Arizona Senator Jon Kyl: Obama's Holding Border Security 'Hostage'.
The No. 2 Senate Republican draws gasps from Town Hall audience with claim that the president is refusing to secure the border until Congress reaches an immigration reform breakthrough. In a video clip posted on YouTube showing the Senator speaking to a local Tea Party crowd on Friday, Kyl said President Obama told him during a one-on-one meeting in the Oval Office that he was concerned he wouldn't win GOP support on immigration legislation if he took care of border security first. 
Report: Rahm Emanuel To Quit White House. The White House chief of staff is expected to leave his job within six to eight months because he is fed up with the 'idealism' of Obama's closest advisers, The Daily Telegraph reports. He is reportedly interested in running for mayor of Chicago, his home town. 
"[A] national poll has a strong majority of Americans supporting the repeal of the pro-abortion health care bill President Barack Obama signed into law. The results come as the Obama administration is delaying on implementing a disputed executive order."
