June 2010[edit]

June 23[edit]

Today Is The 100th Anniversary Of Father's Day.
One hundred years ago, on June 19, 1910, the first Father's Day was celebrated in Spokane, Washington, after Sonora Dodd convinced the mayor that fathers such as hers, a widowed farmer who raised his six children, deserved their own day of recognition. Unlike]Mother's Day, people didn't immediately jump on the bandwagon. Not until 1972 did President Richard M. Nixon sign the holiday into law. It has since become a day when Americans celebrate their fathers and father-like figures, including uncles, grandfathers, and even older brothers. Father's Day is also observed world-wide, with at least 52 countries setting aside a day to honor "dear old dad."
Remember to take time today to honor God, The Father of all Mankind, who gave up his only son, Jesus Christ so that we might live!

Liberal Deceit Department: Corrupt & Fleeing Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd helps owners of Mohegan Sun, an Indian casino that earned $1.3 billion last year, score $54 million in federal money! The Mohegan tribe, owners of the Mohegan Sun -- one of the largest (and most profitable) casinos in the country -- has secured a $54 million low interest loan funded with stimulus funds with Dodd's help. [1]

Majority oppose reelection for Obama, according to the Gallup Poll [2] and increasingly critical of oil spill disaster response. [3] Note how the article uses liberal spin to obscure this news.

For Majority of Voters, National Issues Paramount in 2010 Vote....
By 55% to 39%, more registered voters say a candidate's stand on national issues -- rather than his or her ability to help people at the district level -- is what matters more to them in voting for Congress. The percentage naming issues as the more important factor is the highest recorded on this measure in the nearly two-decade-long Gallup trend. Republicans are considerably more likely than Democrats to emphasize national issues in their assessments of candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives. Notably, the majority of political independents (57%) share Republicans' greater concern for national issues. [4]

Skipping college? Then consider this: "In 1970, only 44% of the upper class had postsecondary education. Today, 81% have postsecondary education." [5] But be sure to get your money's worthy by avoiding the worst college majors.

Hate free speech? Don't worry; your man in Washington has now begun formal proceedings to end it. [6] Liberals simply cannot take free speech of any kind unless they can control it!

Rand Paul supports the filibuster preventing the Senate from expanding the deficit with billions more in jobless payments, but the liberal media smear him again with a misleading headline: "Rand Paul to long-term jobless: Just go back to work." [7]

Government plus healthcare equals bad medicine for the citizens. Congress postpones 21% cut in Medicare reimbursements to doctors until after the November elections. This will cost taxpayers $6.5 billion. The AMA stated that the Congressional actions are too late, "About one in five physicians say they have already been forced to limit the number of Medicare patients in their practice." [8]

Democrat Mayor of Hartford, Connecticut Eddie Perez convicted of corruption. [9]

Was it really just a cop punching an innocent girl, or is there something more to it than NBC wanted to show? [10]

Nevada Leads the Nation in Unemployment Rate -- Harry Reid Is Toast. Nevada's new rate of 14% surpasses Michigan, which had held the number one spot until this week, when its unemployment rate dipped to around 13.5 percent. [11]

Governor Jan Brewer Of Arizona To Hillary: 'Bring It---We Will Win'.
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer expressed outrage Thursday over Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's comments that the Obama administration will sue over Arizona's controversial new immigration law, Arizona Senate Bill 1070 -- and Brewer said she's ready for a fight. "We are not going to back away from this issue," Brewer said. "We are going to pursue it, we're going to be very aggressive," Brewer said. "We'll meet them in court ... And we will win." She added: "The population of America agrees with Arizona." [12]

Conservatives are now virtually guaranteed to pick up the U.S. Senate seat in Arkansas: with less than 5 months to go, John Boozman opens a massive lead over liberal incumbent Blanche Lincoln: "Boozman (R) 61%, Lincoln (D) 32%." [13]

Afghan Military Members AWOL From U.S. Air Force Base. A Nationwide alert has been issued for 17 Afghanistan troops who were receiving pilot and English lessons in the U.S. before going AWOL from Texas Air Force base -- with badges that give them access secure U.S. defense installations. [14]

The political pundits are beginning to paint Obama as a weak and effete due to his mishandling of the oil crises. The Washington Post just published an article entitled New meme: Spill proves Obama isn't manly enough.[15] It appears as if Obama isn't doing any better than the weak and cowardly liberal Richard Dawkins on the manly front.

Guess who has received over $1 billion in taxpayer money over the past 7 years from Congress: abortion groups. "Pro-choice" in practice means a demand for money, but the handouts will not continue forever. [16]

What does atheism and interfaith service projects have in common? A meeting sponsored by the Obama administration's Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. [17] Does anybody find it odd that the exclusion of God is given prominence by Obama?

In the first of its high-profile, end-of-term decisions, the U.S. Supreme Court split 4-4 on whether property owners are protected against judicial takings, and upheld a Florida ruling declaring certain beachfront property to belong to the State. [18] Four Justices held that the Takings Clause protects against court rulings as well as eminent domain, while four justices wanted to defer that issue until a future case.
About a half-dozen additional big decisions will likely be rendered by the High Court in the next ten days.

Elena Kagan Silent On Saudi's $20M Harvard Gift. Typical of committed Leftists and Liberals, Kagan is only interested in embarrassing the military or undermining traditional values. Senator Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, noted Harvard University accepted a $20 million gift from Saudi Arabian Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz in 2005 that was used to establish a center for Islamic Studies in his honor. Sessions cited an Obama State Department report that noted that homosexual acts are a crime in Saudi Arabia under Sharia law and punishable by death or flogging.

At around the same time the university was accepting the gift, Kagan, as dean of the Harvard Law School, was actively seeking to exclude military recruiters from the campus for banning gays from serving openly in the military. "Ms. Kagan was perfectly willing to obstruct the U.S. military – which has liberated countless Muslims from the hate and tyranny of Saddam Hussein and the Taliban," Sessions said. "But it seems she sat on the sidelines as Harvard created an Islamic Studies Center funded by – and dedicated to – foreign leaders presiding over a legal system that violates what would appear to be her position." Senator Sessions said. [19]

Ann Coulter: Alvin Greene: The Most Qualified Democrat I Have Ever Seen. "Greene beat Vic Rawl, a former state representative and judge, with a whopping 60 percent of the vote in last Tuesday's primary. But he does have one thing Rawl doesn't have: In the grand tradition of legendary Democrats such as Teddy Kennedy, Greene has a felony arrest. Greene's inexperience really shows here: Democrats usually wait until after they're elected to show pornography to college girls. So this is not good for the Democrats. Naturally, therefore, they're blaming Republicans." [20]

Unguarded Border.jpg

It's Official: U.S. Can't Guard Part of Mexican Border!
Obama Administration officials make 80-mile stretch of Arizona-Mexico border -- including part of national wildlife refuge -- a virtual no-man's land as violence by drug smugglers and illegals runs rampant. About 3,500 acres of southern Arizona have been closed off to U.S. citizens due to increased violence at the U.S.-Mexico border aimed at law enforcement officers and citizens alike, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

“We need support from the federal government. It’s their job to secure the border and they haven’t done it. In fact, President Obama suspended the construction of the fence and it’s just simply outrageous.” said Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu. [21]

Professor values strike again: The "biology professor charged with killing three of her colleagues at an Alabama university has been indicted in the 1986 shooting death of her brother in Massachusetts." Found in her room at the time was a newspaper article telling how a teenager killed the tavern-owning parents of a Hollywood celebrity, and then stole a getaway car from a dealership, as she reportedly sought after she killed. [22] Survival of the fittest?

What Do ObamaCare, Atheism and the U.K.'s National Health Have In Common?
A suicidal man who suffered from an agonizing skin condition jumped to his death from a bridge after motorists shouted 'jump', an inquest heard. Paul Cowling, 59, told officers he wanted to kill himself because of the horrendous skin condition which health services refused to treat. Described as a 'gentle recluse', the inquest heard Mr. Cowling told a police officer the skin condition left him unable to eat and the only things he could bear to put in his mouth were ice cubes. [23]

Obama's real intentions for last night's speech: improving his popularity: [24]

Voting more than once is STILL ILLEGAL, but since when do liberals care about that law? [25]

News Record reports concerning ObamaCare: "The feedback from small business owners is clear – they want the National Federation of Independent Business, the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, to do something. That’s why we’ve joined 20 states in the federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the recently passed healthcare law...

Plainly and simply, the federal government has gone too far with this law, directly infringing on small business owners’ abilities to manage the day-to-day operations of their businesses. The individual and employer mandates, combined with the onslaught of new taxes, paperwork requirements and new rules, will dramatically increase the cost of starting and running a small business. And while there are a few provisions that may benefit a limited number of small businesses, the overall effect of the law will do much more harm to small businesses than good."[26]

80% Rate A Two-Parent Home Very Important for Children.
Seventy-two percent of Adults agree that children who grow up in a home with both parents have an advantage over children whose parents are divorced. Only 15% disagree. [27]

SmallGovTimes reports: "46 percent of those surveyed told Gallup they approved of the job Obama was doing as president, while 46 percent said they disapproved. In its analysis of the poll results, Gallup points out that equals the lowest weekly approval rating Obama has received since his inauguration."[28]

Rasmussen Reports released a poll today showing Obama's approval rating hitting a new low -- 42%.
Meanwhile, Louisiana voters think George W. Bush did a better job handling the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina than President Barack Obama has done in the wake of the BP oil spill, according to a new poll done by a Democrat-owned firm. [29]

FACT CHECK: Obama Inflates Hopes in Spill Recovery, Ignores The Facts & History. In assuring Americans on Tuesday that BP won't control the compensation fund for Gulf oil spill recovery, Barack Obama failed to mention that the government won't control it, either. That means it's anyone's guess whether the government can, in fact, make BP pay all costs related to the spill. Obama aimed high in his prime-time Oval Office address -- higher than the facts support and history teaches -- as he promised to restore livelihoods and nature from the still-unfolding calamity in the Gulf of Mexico. [30]

Obama reads to the nation from a teleprompter in the Oval Office, his first presentation from that room, and oddly calls the oil spill an "epidemic". Does he think it is contagious? Obama imposes a six-month ban on deepwater drilling in U.S. waters, disrupting thousands of jobs, which he claims is "for the sake of their safety." [31]

Britain apologizes, says it was wrong for the "Bloody Sunday" killings in 1972 against demonstrators in Northern Ireland. [32]

Obama's reckless spending is now too much...even for Democrats, who balk at his bailout plan for laid off local government (Democratic) workers. [33]
Translation: It's less than 5 months until Election Day, when House Democrats face all voters at Obamageddon.

Sir Winston Churchill.jpg

Winston Churchill's Cigar Is Airbrushed Out By Atheistic, Politically Correct British. An iconic photo of the former prime minister that sits perched atop the entrance to a World War II museum in London was airbrushed by an unknown censor, removing the wartime chief's signature stogie from the picture. "Viewing the now disfigured image reveals just how unhinged the vociferous anti-smoking lobby has become. So much for the notion that only communist tyrants airbrushed history." said a museum visitor. [34]

Evidence for so-called dark energy and dark matter is lacking: a team of astronomers at Durham University (UK) has re-examined some of the data from NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe and found that the reported "acceleration effect" that is "due" to dark energy is nothing more than an error of measurement. [35]

The pro-life-Tea Party alliance wins another huge upset: the millionaire publisher and party official Diane Gooch concedes defeat to Anna Little for the Republican nomination in the sixth congressional district of NJ. [36][37]

Brent Bozell: "A new Rasmussen poll found an astonishing two thirds of American voters are at least somewhat angry at the media, including an entire one third who said they are ‘very angry.’ ... The liberal media lost touch with the public and fair reporting long ago, and Americans are sick of their lavish praise for a President that is leading our country and economy into a disastrous state. The American people are abandoning the old media by the millions because they are simply fed up.”

Now is the time for the national, so-called "news" media to Tell The Truth! and report the facts. The American people are furious and are demanding answers. [38]

Facebook is affecting the Pro-life movement in positive way. The social media leader has seen a big trend, ultrasound pics of the baby make it to their website. The spread of pictures like ultrasound images, which has shown to influence pregnant mothers to keep their child has also been shown to influence people to become more pro-life. [39]

John Holdren, Obama's "Science Czar" whose has made statements like calling to "de-develop the United States," declined to be interviewed by CNS News about his past work by saying, "If you read it and you have a problem, you’re misreading it." [40]

The slim and disciplined Germans are financially bailing out the obese Greek population.[41][42] Perhaps, if more Greeks tightened their belts and spent more time working rather than lounging on their couches eating assorted snacks, Greece would find it easier to pay back their creditors! The highly disciplined South Koreans have a low unemployment rate and a low obesity rate.[43][44]

Leading trend forecaster Gerald Celente declares: "We have losers leading us."[45]

The NRA angers part of its membership by endorsing the candidate whom it once gave a poor grade: John McCain. [46] J.D. Hayworth enjoys the endorsement of the more consistent Gun Owners of America.

New SF FedBuilding.jpg

Hard Economic Times? Not For Nancy Pelosi.
Her New 3,000 Square Foot District Office Costs $18,736 a Month !
There isn't some gouging landlord either....she rents from the Federal Government. The next highest monthly office rent belongs to Rep. Jerrold Nadler - (D), who occupies an office in a federal building in Manhattan’s very trendy SoHo neighborhood for just under $10,600. [47]

Another puppet of the abortion industry is uncovered: the pathetic Charlie Crist. He vetoed a bill that would have enabled women to see an ultrasound of their unborn child before having an abortion. [48] Nearly 80% of women who see their ultrasound then decide against having an abortion.

Happy Flag Day An official act of the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777: "Resolved That the Flag of the United States be 13 stripes alternate red and white, that the Union be 13 stars, white in a blue field representing a new constellation." [49]

Microsoft's Bing search engine honors Flag Day [50] In contrast to Google, [51] they give it no honor and Google has given Sputnik more significance than Flag Day.

The True Face Of Bullying Liberals - Congressman Attacks Student.
Bob Etheridge, a Democrat from North Carolina, is seen in a amateur video grabbing the wrist and neck of the unidentified youngman after he approached the congressman and asked if he supported the "Obama agenda." [52] & [53]

39% in 2008 ... 46% in 2009 ... and now 49% of "Americans Say Obama, Pro-Abortion Democrats Too Liberal." [54]

Apparently $1.6 trillion isn't a big-enough deficit for Obama this year; he wants to add another $80 billion to it: [55]

At 10 am (ET) this Monday morning, the U.S. Supreme Court issued decisions and orders as it nears the end of its term. UPDATE: The Court did not render decisions in its most high-profile cases, but scheduled Thursday morning for further announcements. 24 cases are expected to be resolved by the Court before it adjourns for the summer. [56]

U.S. Discovers $1 Trillion+ In Afghanistan Mineral Deposits!
A team of U.S. geologists and Pentagon officials has discovered vast mineral wealth in Afghanistan, conceivably enough to turn the scarred and impoverished country into one of the world's most lucrative mining centers. The untapped mineral deposits include iron, copper, cobalt, gold and critical industrial metals like lithium. A Pentagon memo says Afghanistan could become the "Saudi Arabia of lithium," a key raw material in the manufacture of batteries for laptops and cell phones. [57]

Nancy Pelosi As God's Emissary? House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent claim to be enacting the Word of God in her socialist legislative steamrolling is a rerun of the Social Gospel heresy that befell American Christianity around 1870. [58]

Is the EU's Future Deutschland Über Alles? [59]

The "outsiders" were in at the Washington state Republican Convention. Candidates who align themselves with the Tea Party Movement and conservative causes were getting long and lengthy ovations. "It's time we the people had the courage and fortitude to take our country back," U.S. Senate candidate Clint Didier told the gathering Saturday. "When I get to D.C., there's going to be hell to pay. It's time to fight our way back to the Light, to the Truth, to the Lord God Almighty." [60]

The move to break up Belgium has gathered momentum. Separatists have won an emphatic election victory in Flanders, the prosperous Dutch-speaking half of the fiercely divided nation. Modern day Belgium is divided between Dutch-speaking Flanders, which is more populous and prosperous, and Wallonia, the more economically disadvantaged, French-speaking southern portion. Symbolically division would also be a big event since Brussels hosts the headquarters of the European Union and NATO. [61]

Wonder what holds men's soccer back in the U.S.? A mindless feminist quota limits men in sports to the relative percentage of men in the classroom, despite men having far greater interest in sports. The result is that only 59% of Division I colleges have men's soccer. Meanwhile 93% of Division I colleges offer women's soccer. [62]

"Tea Partiers Sharron Angle, Rand Paul to Get Embrace of National GOP Leaders." [63]

Carly Fiorina won the nomination by a landslide on Tuesday by ridiculing Barbara Boxer's absurd support of Mann-made global warming. Carly's TV ad disparaged global warming falsehoods as referring to the "weather". [64]

"Kagan Took Lead Role in Fight Over Abortion Limits, Papers Show." [65] But why isn't FoxNews covering this story?

Obey obama.jpg

Obama Takes a Hard Line Against Leaks to Press, In Spite Of Promising Transparency.
In 17 months in office, President Obama has already outdone every previous president in pursuing leak prosecutions. The Obama administration has taken actions that might have provoked sharp political criticism for his predecessor, George W. Bush, who was often in public fights with the press. Yet the Obama obsequious, slobbering press has remained mostly silent. [66]

Alvin Greene's South Carolina Primary Opponent Calls for Investigation of Election Results. Why? Greene seems to epitomize the Liberal Values Democrats hold dear.... [67]

Here we go again: atheistic nation underperforms in a big athletic competition, as England embarrasses itself with a tie in its soccer opening. We already knew atheists don't build hospitals. Now this, as we saw with Canada in the Olympics.

Entering From Stage Left, Misogynist Bill Clinton Takes Aim At Sharron Angle In Nevada.
In full panic mode, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, running behind Angle 39% to her 50%, has dispatched the discredited Clinton to bully the come-from-behind GOP candidate. Given Angle has the full support of the Tea Party Movement, Clinton has his work cut out for him. Reid is viewed as among the most vulnerable Democrats running for reelection this cycle and currently has an approval rating of only 35% in his state, according to a recent Mason-Dixon Poll.

Look for Bill Clinton and Harry Reid to set new lows in sleazy, attack-politics soon. [68] -- [69]

Hugo Chavez proves once again that he's a dictator: [70]

One of the key pillars in "support" of global warming has turned out to be a dud for lack of evidence. In simple terms that a layman could understand, Mr. Gore, the islands ain't sinking! [71]

"U.S. Northeast Carbon Permits Draw Record Low Price," illustrating the bust of the liberal hoax about global warming. [72] But will Al Gore give back the millions he made? What is Tipper's take on Al's fortune?

Accused of being a "whack job," conservative Sharron Angle points out that Harry Reid is the candidate who is the "whack job." But note how the liberal Huffington Post spins the story to obscure that the reporter used the term first, not Angle, and compelled her to respond. [73]

Let's hope England is better at soccer than politics: the nation that developed modern soccer takes on a nation that cares little about it, in a World Cup match between England and the U.S. Saturday. [74]

Yahoo News: Obama's "crude, bigoted, xenophobic display of partisan political Presidential petulance" threatens retired pensioners worldwide by exploiting class war over the BP spill. [75]

To paraphrase a Native American phrase, Obama speaks with a forked tongue: [76]

Elena Kagan Supported Policy of Reverse Discrimination, Clinton Documents Reveal. Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan resolutely supported “non-remedial affirmative action,” also known as reverse discrimination, when she served in the Clinton Justice Department, according to a 1997 document buried in the more than 100,000 pages released from the Clinton Library last week. [77]

65% Say U.S. Better Off If Most in Congress Defeated This November. 41% say a group of people selected at random from the phone book would do a better job addressing the nation’s problems than the current Congress. Still, while hoping incumbents get defeated, only 42% of all voters say there will be a noticeable change in the lives of most Americans if the Republicans recapture control of Congress from the Democrats. Americans hunger for Character, Values and Common Sense is why. [78]

Protestant U.K. churches face public criticism for their plan to educate 40 million people about Jesus through a billboard campaign with a Pro-life message. [79]

"'Sharron Angle Hires Scott Brown's Online Fundraising Team." [80]
Maybe Martha Coakley can give Harry Reid some advice!

Conservative Bill Brady jumps to an 11-point lead for governor in the State of liberals Barack Obama, Rahm Emanuel and Arne Duncan: Illinois. [81]
There are too many conservative candidates for liberals to try to smear.

The atheist and evolutionist Richard Dawkins just referred to Mary, the mother of Jesus, as a "submissive cosmic doormat."[82] Perhaps, if Richard Dawkins understood women better plus had a greater understanding of manhood, he would still be married to his first wife!

Sarah Palin recently declared that Obama's inner circle of Chicago political thugs is not serving America well and that Obama needs to widen his inner circle to increase the competency of the Obama administration. [83]

Recently Australia has practiced more governmental fiscal restraint than the United States. The greater governmental fiscal restraint has payed off for the Australians and their unemployment rate is now approximately 5%.[84]

Ben Bernanke recently testified before Congress and declared he was "puzzled" why the price of gold is going up.VIDEO The reason is obvious. The Obama administration has a reckless monetary policy and a reckless fiscal policy and the financial markets are worried about stagflation.

American Voters: Obama Administration Could Have Done More, Moved Faster On Spill. 57% think Obama could have done more and reacted more quickly to the Gulf oil spill disaster. [85]

A majority of Americans are fed up with liberalism, and that number is growing: [86]

Obama's birth certificate may not even exist at all. Said a former Hawaii elections clerk "I had direct access to the Social Security database, the national crime computer, state driver's license information, international passport information, basically just about anything you can imagine to get someone's identity. I could look up what bank your home mortgage was in. I was informed by my boss that we did not have a birth record." [87]

Political power is the only thing ACORN craves, and they will do anything illegal to obtain it: [88]

Sharron Angle, following her come-from-behind Republican Primary win Tuesday, has bounced to an 11-point lead over Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in Nevada’s closely-watched U.S. Senate race. [89]

In an interview with Dr. Michael Savage, Representative Michele Bachmann tells Barack Obama to man up! "Will the United States man up? Will we man-up—will we stand by our ally Israel, and will we deliver some tough love to the thugs out there, or won’t we? [90]

Indian creation accounts are remarkably similar to biblical Genesis account.[91]

Liberals Seek to Lift Ban on Abortions at U.S. Military Hospitals Abroad. Will their blood-lust never end? [92]

AP reports Obama is "getting really, really mad" about the Gulf oil spill disaster. [93]

An embittered atheist and evolutionist becomes a creation evangelist.[94]

Constitution warning.jpg

Crazy Values Department:

Publishing Company Under Fire for Putting Warning Label on Constitution ! Wilder Publications warns readers of its reprints of the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, Common Sense, the Articles of Confederation, and the Federalist Papers, among others, that “This book is a product of its time and does not reflect the same values as it would if it were written today.” Oh really?
The disclaimer goes on to tell parents that they "might wish to discuss with their children how views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations have changed since this book was written before allowing them to read this classic work." [95]

One of the most powerful liberal unions, the SEIU, is walking away from Blanche Lincoln, which makes Arkansas an almost certain Republican gain in the fall for U.S. Senate. [96]

What Has Serial Liar Charlie Crist Been Up To? Changing his campaign website to remove all Pro-life support language for starters. He also hired a political strategy group mainly used by liberals. Evidently Crist will do anything, say anything, to cling to public office. Good luck with that! Video

Does a Sarah Palin Endorsement Matter? You Betcha! Former governor saw three of the four candidates she endorsed sail to victory or move on to a runoff in primaries. She credited the "message" of the candidates, particularly the women she calls the "mama grizzlies." "Perhaps an endorsement can shift just a tiny bit of momentum in some cases, and I think that's what we saw. But it certainly wasn't me as an individual," she said. [97]

The Massachusetts Teachers Union thinks it can extort money...from a Marine: [98]

South Carolina Republican Senator Jim DeMint is going to face a November challenge by a former veteran who is facing felony charges involving showing obscene Internet photos to a University of South Carolina student: [99] And this is the best the Democrats can come up with?

Expose a liberal for what she is gets death threats in return. The goons protecting the hate of Helen Thomas descend on the rabbi who exposed it: [100]

June 14[edit]

Fox News has John McCain on nearly every night, but refuses to allow his primary opponent, the conservative J.D. Hayworth, on at all. What's up? Feel free to discuss at Talk:Main Page.

The Sharron Angle v. Harry Reid match-up may clip the wings of the liberal media, as the savvy Angle will likely to turn to alternative, less biased means to get her message out.
This won't be Rand Paul Part II with silly Q&A on obscure liberal cable shows.

Stunning landslide victory by the conservative Sharron Angle in Nevada, defeating her rival by 14 points. [101]
The media are furious as Angle refuses to fall for their liberal tricks, and most refuse to publish her huge margin of victory.

Whitman, Fiorina Win GOP Primaries in California...Gibbons given the boot in Nevada. [102] & [103]

With about a third of the precincts reporting, the Tea Party Express and conservatives are on track to capture the biggest prize of Election Day by nominating the person to unseat Harry Reid: Sharron Angle. [104]

Pro-life Carly Fiorina opens a stunning lead in California for the Republican nomination for Senate. [105]

Unions strike out against Blanche Lincoln, despite spending perhaps $10 million to try to defeat her in Arkansas. [106] Union political power continues to fall.

Tea Party candidate Nikki Haley, endorsed by Sarah Palin, wins the South Carolina Republican gubernatorial primary but will probably face a run-off for not exceeding 50% of the vote. [107]

Election races tighten in New Jersey as more precincts report, but it seems unlikely that the Tea Party Movement will topple any congressional favorites in this State. [108] Eleven other states had primaries today, with polls still open in the western states.

Voter turnout has been light in New Jersey, which may work to the advantage of the Tea Party Movement. [109]

Results and analysis of the biggest Election Day of the year begin shortly after 8pm (ET) here.

Obama Handing 2010 Midterm Elections To Conservatives ?
President Obama kicked off a big push to promote his $1 trillion ObamaCare scheme today, in the face of overwhelming public opposition. A Rasmussen Reports poll out yesterday shows that 58% of likely voters want to repeal the unpopular law. [110]

The U.K. Based Reuters Admits Cropping Photos of Ship Clash. The news agency has been stung for the second time by charges that it edited politically sensitive photos in a way that casts Israel in a bad light. In one photo, an Israeli commando is shown lying on the deck of the ship, surrounded by activists. The uncut photo shows the hand of an unidentified activist holding a knife. But in the Reuters photo, the hand is visible but the knife has been edited out. Not surprising in a once great country now overtaken by secularism and moral relativism [111]

When it comes to basic economics, liberals and Democrats are not smarter than a 5th grader: [112] Are you sure you want them controlling the nation's purse strings?

Nancy Pelosi Shouted Down From The Left. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was drowned out by disability activists at her speech at a progressive gathering. The activists stood up and began shouting shortly after Pelosi took the stage, and they did not stop until she completed her speech more than 30 minutes later. A second group of protesters, anti-Israel radicals, also held a banner — right in front of the stage — which read "Stop funding Israel terror." In a reality-defying statement, the disconnected Speaker made this surreal statement: "President Obama and the Democratic Caucus have saved this country from a financial crisis created under the Bush administration,". [113]

Obama To Reopen Offshore Oil Drilling -- Angry Liberal Firestorm Erupts. The Obama administration, facing rising anger on the Gulf Coast over the loss of thousands of jobs and income from the drilling moratorium, said that it would move quickly to release new safety requirements that would allow the reopening of offshore oil and gas exploration. [114]

Canada's socialist healthcare system is in chaos. The only way the U.S. can stop going down the disastrous road Canada has is to elect Republicans as the majority in 2010 and a Republican president in 2012. [115]

Democrats Skip Town Halls to Avoid Voter Rage. With images of overheated, finger-waving crowds still seared into their minds from the discontent of last August, most Democrats heeded the advice of party leaders and tried to avoid unscripted question-and-answer sessions this Memorial Day recess. Voters will have no trouble expressing their outrage, not only in today's voting but in November, we predict, saving the cowardly liberals the ordeal of facing the voters ever again! [116]

Associated Press: With Gulf oil spill, Obama administration fails its latest test of trust. [117]

Here we go again: Obama endorses Blanche Lincoln, who then declines in the polls, whereupon Obama "disengages" to reduce his own political embarrassment. [118]

None Dare Call It Treason? - - United States Soldier Busted for Leaking to WikiLeaks.
Army officials apprehended an intelligence analyst accused of releasing classified military information to the self-proclaimed "whistle-blowing" website, WikiLeaks. The military said today that Specialist Bradley Manning, 22, of Potomac, Maryland is being held in pre-trial confinement in Kuwait. Manning is deployed with 2nd Brigade 10th Mountain Division, in Baghdad, Iraq. Under law the recipients as well as those who pass on classified material in time of war are guilty of treason. Will the Obama administration round them all up? [120]

Longtime Liberal White House Correspondent (And History-Impaired) Helen Thomas Resigns Amid Controversy Over Anti-Israel Remarks. The announcement comes after Thomas, 89, faced criticism for saying last month that Jews should "get the hell out of Palestine." and return "home" to Poland and Germany. [121]

Liberals essentially tell NJ Republican Governor Chris Christie: save us from ourselves, please take over the budgetary process! [129] The State shuts down by law on July 1st if the deficit is not erased.

The political strength of the Tea Party Express and other tea party groups is on the line in this Tuesday's primaries, where races will be decided in California, Nevada, New Jersey and eight other states. Professor Values: Lynchburg College professor Richard Pumphrey creates a bust of Joseph Stalin for a D-Day memorial in Virginia. Obama Breaks Whale Promise. Environmentalists, already peeved with the administration’s handling of the Gulf oil spill, are accusing President Obama of breaking his campaign pledge to end the slaughter of whales. Barack Obama is leading an effort within the International Whaling Commission to lift a 24-year international ban on commercial whaling for Japan, Norway and Iceland. [135]

In a canned radio address, the clueless and lazy Obama tries to deflect criticism from himself for failing to address the oil spill crisis and pretending he's a rock star with Paul McCartney at the White House. Rather than help plug the well, Obama "talked about Floyd Lasseigne, a fourth-generation oyster fisherman, and Terry Vegas, who quit the eighth grade to become a shrimper with his grandfather." [136]

Richard Dawkins

The Vatican has offered to debate atheist and agnostics, but high profile militant atheists such as Richard Dawkins will not be invited.[137]

Conservapedia predicts that Richard Dawkins will not challenge the head of any large Christian body to a debate this year concerning the resurrection of Jesus Christ because he lacks the courage to do so and because the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ is so compelling.

Atheist lawyers may try to keep Christians from expressing their faith in schools, but no prominent atheist lawyer has ever written a scholarly legal work attempting to challenge the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

"Libs taste like chicken!"

Liberal stupidity in action. A liberal Montana judge awarded worker's compensation to a "volunteer" - an injured pot-smoking volunteer - who thought it was OK to enter an enclosed pen to hand-feed a grizzly bear: [138] And these liberals want to legalize the pot!

And we all thought Obama would keep his campaign promises of honesty and transparency: [139]

Cash-strapped California is unable to correct their downward financial spiral. Whether it's blocking huge sources of revenue from offshore drilling or absorbing all the costs associated illegal immigration and their sanctuary city policy, the bankrupt trend marches on. Now we learn that California is spending $1,000,000. for a "Fish Ladder." [140]

The famous financier John Pierpont Morgan said "A man always has two reasons for doing anything: a good reason and the real reason." Gaza Flotilla Group Part of U.N. NGO Branch !
The Pro-Palestinian Turkish group involved in Israel flotilla supports radical Islamic networks and is member of a hard-to-access U.N. group, and is less a charity than it is a radical group. The Turkish "charity" was described in a recent report as being a "radical Islamic organization with an anti-Western orientation," and that "besides its legitimate philanthropic activities, it supports radical Islamic networks, including Hamas, and even global jihad networks."[145]

The Republican leader of the Senate Judiciary Committee declares, "Because [ Elena Kagan's ] legal record is thin -- she has never been a judge and practiced law for only two years -- her time at Harvard is especially significant. The question must be asked: What does Kagan's treatment of the U.S. military at Harvard say about her fitness to hold one of the highest positions in American government? For years, many of our nation's elite academic institutions shamefully discriminated against the armed services." [148]

Liberal Professor William Ayers is back in the news: The so-called "Free Gaza Movement" is linked to Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, and Code Pink founder Jodie Evans; on board the six-ship flotilla from Turkey to Israel were people who had connections to terrorist groups Hamas and Al Qaeda: [149][150]

Destroying Our Freedom:
Obama Journalism 'Reinvention' Smacks of Dangerous Government Control; Liberal Power Grab. A list of potential policy recommendations to reinvent the field of journalism that has been compiled by the Federal Trade Commission is a "dangerous" overreach of power and a waste of taxpayer funds. Among the numerous proposals mentioned in the document are:

  • Creation of a "journalism" division of AmeriCorps, Barack Obama's "civilian army", that places 75,000 young people with local and national nonprofit activist groups annually;
  • Tax credits to news organizations for every journalist employed;
  • Vouchers, which "would allow every American tax payer to allocate some amount of government funds to the non-profit media organization" of their choice;
  • Increased funding for public radio and television;
  • Providing grants to universities to conduct "investigative journalism". [152]

Does The Obama administration Have A Bribery Addiction? One of President Barack Obama's top advisers suggested to a Colorado Democrat that he forgo a primary challenge to Senator Michael Bennet and instead apply for one of three international development jobs. The disclosure came just days after the White House admitted orchestrating a job offer in the Pennsylvania Senate race. The back-room deals -- former President Bill Clinton led the Pennsylvania effort and White House deputy chief of staff Jim Messina worked with former Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff -- called into question (again) Obama's repeated promises to run an open government. [159]

Best-selling author Martin L. Gross, who has testified before Congress on numerous instances, gives powerful testimony concerning the corruptness and incompetency of the Barack Obama administration. Liberal Values Department: Los Angeles Schools Join in Arizona Bashing. The city's very liberal school district wants its students to be taught that Arizona's new immigration law is Un-American !
The school board voted unanimously on Tuesday to “express outrage” and “condemnation” of the law, and it called on the school superintendent to look into curtailing economic support to the Grand Canyon State. About 73% of the students in the beleaguered school district are Latino. According to its press release, "The Los Angeles Board of Education also requested that Superintendent Ramon Cortines ensure that civics and history classes discuss the recent laws with students in the context of the American values of unity, diversity and equal protection for all people.” [164]

Ex-Florida GOP Chairman, An Ally Of Now Independent Charlie Crist, Charged With Felony Theft. Jim Greer was arrested today for allegedly running a scam bilking money from the Florida Republican Party. Political observers say the scandal reflects poorly on Crist, who brought Greer into power. [165]

The fiscal fraud that is Obamacare is beginning to snowball, and the revealing is brought to you by a liberal Democrat supporter of it: Henry Waxman, who's just in dithers as he needs another $22.9-billion from our wallets to "fix" Medicare doctors’ fees: [171]

The Tea Party Movement tests its strength Tuesday against the party establishment and the media as its flag-bearer Sharron Angle ignores media demands to follow her campaign for Harry Reid's seat. "She's not interested in meeting up with any media or anything," Angle's spokeswoman said. [172]

YouTube video producer Shockofgod is starting to be concerned that the YouTube evolutionist, Donexodus2 (who has 30,000 subscribers), lacks machismo and may back out of a scheduled debate.VIDEO Generally speaking, creationists tend to win creation vs. evolution debates. Concerning the Scopes Monkey Trial, reports: "It is a little known fact that William Jennings Bryan agreed to be interrogated by Clarence Darrow only if Bryan could in turn interrogate Darrow views of evolution. Darrow agreed, but then right after interrogating Bryan directed the judge to find Scopes guilty, thereby closing the evidence and thus preventing Bryan from interrogating Darrow".[174]

Lita Cosner offers some excellent commentary on the livability of the Christian worldview.[175] The significant financial problems of Greece, California and New York certainly point to the unsustainability of the liberal world view.

In Criticizing Cleanup, Bobby Jindal Finds His Voice. In the gathering frustration over failures to stop the oil leak in the Gulf, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has emerged as one of the staunchest critics of the response effort. Mr. Jindal accuses the Obama administration of poorly coordinating cleanup efforts between its agencies and BP, leading to delays in cleaning oiled beaches and marshes, laying protective boom and delivering resources to critical areas. Long-Term Unemployment in the USA Hits New High, Cuts Across Income Levels and Demographics.[178] Small business owners, traditionally a creator of many jobs, are mobilizing against the job killing ObamaCare legislation.[179] Furthermore, Dr. Jeff Cornwell makes an excellent argument concerning the folly of Obama's corporate bailouts.[180]

Liberal-run New York plans to lay off thousands of employees. "A member of New York Gov. "Who Will Live In Tipper And Al Gore’s New $8.875 Million Montecito, Calif. Home?" [182]
Al Gore won a Nobel Prize and up to perhaps $100 million for insisting that global warming was occurring, and that man was to blame. Will Tipper walk away with up to $50 million now?

Global warming-alarmists are on the run. When their "facts" wither away under scrutiny and their excuses in support of it are reduced to the tired cliche "but everyone knows it's true," their case is finished. [183]

Illegal Immigrant Crime Spree in Washington State. One woman is dead and two others were raped recently and police say each crime was committed by a different illegal immigrant. One of the sexual assaults happened just hours before the very liberal Seattle city council passed an ordinance boycotting Arizona over its new immigration law. Washington State ranks 11th in the nation in the number of illegal immigrants with an estimated 150,000. They make up 2% of the state's population, but account for 4.5% of those in Washington prisons. In Franklin county, 14% of the jail bookings are illegal immigrants. There are about 50,000 felony warrants currently issued in Washington State and according to a source in the U.S. Marshall's office between 30-40 percent are believed to be illegal immigrants. [184]

Torrent of liberal claptrap follows today's announcement of Al and Tipper Gore's marriage breakup. [185]

FoxNewsImage Flag.jpg

From Oregon to Minnesota to Ohio, vandals trampled on the American Flag over Memorial Day weekend and veterans are calling for the quick arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the reprehensible vandalism. In one Ohio town alone, approximately 25 American flags were found set ablaze on Monday. In Portland, Oregon, Christian Ashby and his wife awoke Sunday to find their American flag torn down, covered in obscenities and burned outside their home. Why do liberals hate the symbol of our freedom so much? [186]

Just two hours before liberals on the Seattle city council decided to boycott Arizona for enforcing the law, illegal immigrants in Washington go on a crime spree. Investor Marc Faber, who is famous for warning his clients about the 1987 stock market crash, declares he is 100% positive America will go into a hyperinflationary period. Even the liberal New York Times reported: "Greenlight Capital’s gold bets have attracted more than $130 million in two recent private offerings from investors eager to join in the hedge fund’s bets on the precious metal, which is seen as protection against inflation, MarketWatch reported."[191]

The recent higher gold and oil prices are one of the clearest bellweathers that inflationary forces are likely gathering momentum and there are several reasons why inflation could become a significant problem.[192]

The inevitable outcome of the Greek financial crisis – soon to be followed by comparable events in Portugal, Spain and probably Italy – will be the collapse of the Euro and a sharp halt in the momentum for European integration. Once again we see how values matter. The United States was founded upon ideals, morality, a belief in God and the rights He gave us. The EU is godless and founded as a economic device, and therefore doomed to failure until Europeans recognize Freedom comes from God, not men. [194]

Yet Another Obama Strike-Out: 60% Now Favor Repeal of ObamaCare. This is the second straight week to find support for repeal of the bill at 60% or above. Sixty-two percent believe the law will increase the federal budget deficit, and 58% think it will raise the cost of care. 51% say the new law also will hurt the quality of care. [195]
Just look at the number of states that are opposing socialist-run healthcare [196], an unprecedented Democrat failure.

Passing ObamaCare may turn out to have been Obama's Waterloo due the voter resentment it caused. Hopefully, ObamaCare will be repealed sooner rather than later. Ultimately, ObamaCare will be repealed as America can't afford it. Please see the documentary I.O.U.S.A. - One Nation. Under Debt. In Stress HERE

Whether we look to the first Charter of Virginia or the Charter of New England or the Charter of Massachusetts Bay or the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut, the same objective is present – a Christian land governed by Christian principles" is peppered with condemnation, until the libs doing the condemning discover that the words came from the pen of another liberal, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Earl Warren. Remembering Memorial Day

Originally, the holiday was known as "Decoration Day." It was started by a Civil War general named John Logan, who was the Commander-in-Chief of the Grand Army of the Republic. General John Logan sought a way to help the country come back together after the horrors and divide of the Civil War.

The holiday was first observed on May 30, 1868, and Gen. Logan chose that date for two very important reasons: First, the day did not mark the anniversary of a Civil War battle, and second "flowers would likely be in bloom all over the United States." Indeed, many took flowers to Arlington National Cemetery, an activity that still occurs every year. [204]

Columbia University "valedictory Class Day speech plagiarized." [205] Isn't it great how our liberal colleges produce such geniuses?

The Gulf of Mexico oil spill is further tarring Obama's political feathers and his approval ratings are falling.VIDEO A US News and World Report columnist declares that the "spill is becoming President Obama’s version of Hurricane Katrina, which started to turn American public opinion against former President George W. Bush."[206]

A Kansas City news organization reports concerning the Gulf of Mexico oil spill:

"A litany of half-truths, withholding crucial video, blocking media access to the site, and failing to share timely and complete information about efforts to contain the largest oil spill in U.S. history have created the widespread impression that BP is suppressing the facts about the April 20 oil rig blowout in the Gulf of Mexico, if not misleading the public and the government.

The government has been little better, for weeks blindly accepting BP’s estimates of the size of the spill, all but powerless to force the company to curb its use of toxic chemical dispersants and ignoring warnings from its own officials about possible worker safety violations."[207]

Peggy Noonan, the voice of several ex-presidents weighs in on the Gulf oil spill disaster:

The American people have spent at least two years worrying that high government spending would, in the end, undo the republic. They saw the dollars gushing night and we have a videotape metaphor for all the public’s fears...You actually don’t get deadlier as a metaphor for the moment than that...[the president's] philosophy is that it is appropriate for the federal government to occupy a more burly, significant and powerful place in America...Then the oil spill came and government could not do the job... [208]

Liberal college commencement speakers wrap up a month of record-breaking claptrap. Was there a single conservative commencement speaker allowed amid thousands of college graduations? MSM Ann Curry's was typical: she listed names of famous people she thought had graduated from the college she was addressing, when in fact they had gone to a completely different college. [211] No matter: liberals don't care what their favorites say!

British Petroleum fails in 'top kill' to plug Gulf oil spill disaster. [212] Meanwhile the Obamas enjoy festive weekend barbecue. President Obama and his family are enjoying their hometown holiday vacation weekend with no plans to honor veterans at Arlington National Cemetery. [213] They headed to dinner at the house of leftist Chicago businessman Marty Nesbitt. Obama was dressed casually in a pair of jeans, sandals and blue, button-down collared shirt. He was joined by wife, Michelle, and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, who was walking Bo, the family dog. Earlier, Obama played basketball at the University of Chicago Lab School. Chef Tony Mantuano of Spiaggia, an Obama favorite: "We certainly would be thrilled if they stopped by here!" Next week, after a leisurely Memorial Day weekend, the Obamas will return to the White House and the East Room for the music of Paul McCartney. [214]

Scent of Jet Fuel: Lawmakers Abandon Washington You can almost detect the aroma of jet fuel wafting over the Capitol in the hours preceding a big Congressional recess. What prominent atheist lawyer has ever publicly challenged the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ? Conservapedia is not aware of any (Perhaps, they are too busy filing frivolous lawsuits).

Obama to Arizona Governor: "Don't Call Me, I'll Call You." President Obama's demanding schedule 'doesn't allow for a meeting' with Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer as she requests to speak with him as tensions mount over immigration law. Obama does have time in his busy schedule to host pop entertainer Paul McCartney from the atheistic United Kingdom however... [219]
This illustrates liberal style: pretend to be "cool" while actually being as unhelpful as possible.

A recent photograph features Obama inspecting a contaminated beach and pretending to be concerned, but he is obviously not dressed to do any cleanup work. Reuters reports that residents are angry about the lack of cleanup.[221]

SESTAK SCANDAL GROWS...AND STILL STINKS. The idea was to immunize Obama and Rahm Emanuel from possible criminal prosecution by using Bill Clinton, not a government employee, as a cut out and to keep the offer to an unpaid job in hopes of not running afoul of the federal bribery statute. But these evasions will not blunt the force of the law. If Clinton acted at Emanuel’s request, he was his agent and the Chief of Staff is still on the hook. And, an unpaid position is still “something of value” within the meaning of the bribery statute which prohibits the offering of something of value in return for an action. [222]

Census Bureau numbers provide smoke and mirrors for the Obama administration. [223] Last week, one of the millions of workers hired by Census 2010 to parade around the country counting Americans blew the whistle on some statistical tricks. New York Post recounts the phony job count "For the past two months the hiring by Census has made up a good portion of the new jobs." [224] Maybe now we understand why Obama wanted ACORN to do this work.

The White House says that at the request of Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Bill Clinton talked to Joe Sestak about job working for President Obama if he dropped Senate bid against Arlen Specter.
