'''Margaret Goldwater''' was the first wife of [[Arizona]] [[United States Senator|senator]] and [[Republican]] presidential candidate [[Barry Goldwater]].  Margaret Johnson and Barry Goldwater were married in 1934, and remained married until her death in 1985.  The Goldwaters had four children: Joanne (1936), Barry Jr. (1938), Michael (1940), and Peggy (1944).
